Cash Deposit Machine

The Cash Deposit Machine, better known as Automated Deposit cum Withdrawal Machine (ADWM) is an ATM like machine that allows you to deposit cash directly into your account using the ATM cum debit card. You can use this machine to instantly credit your account without visiting the branch. The transaction receipt also gives you your updated account balance. Some of the salient features of this product are:

  • Instant credit of cash deposit into your own account or any other SBI account
  • Quick and convenient way to deposit cash
  • Voucher-less transaction: no need to fill any deposit slip
  • The per transaction limits are:
    Deposit Mode Per Transaction limits

    Through Debit Cards / SME Insta Deposit Cards to Card linked account

    Up to ₹1,00,000*

    Through Debit Cards to 3rd Party A/c.

    Up to ₹ 49,900*

    Cardless Transactions

    Up to ₹ 49,900*

    Through Green Remit Card (GRC)

    Up to ₹25,000* per transaction with monthly limit up to ₹1,00,000 per GRC

    * Accounts without PAN can accept an aggregate amount up to ₹ 49,900 per day across all deposit channels and Product specific deposit limit for BSBD A/cs.

  • You can also deposit cash in your PPF, RD and Loan accounts
  • Upto 200 currency notes can be deposited in a single transaction
  • The ADWM only accepts denominations of Rs.100/-, Rs.200/-, Rs.500/-

Other Services

  • Cash Withdrawal: Like ATMs, our SBI ADWMs also support card-based & cardless cash withdrawals. Cardless Cash Withdrawals method include YONO Cash, QR Code cash and UPI QR Cash. Refer ATM Services section for details. Other Bank Customers can also use their Debit Cards for cash withdrawals or through UPI Apps if their Bank supports ICCW facility.
  • PIN change : Use this service to change your password at regular intervals.
  • Balance Enquiry : Expecting an inflow of funds in your account? Use this service to check the current available balance in your account. This service is available on the main option screen after swiping your card. You can also ‘Go Green' by selecting the view option as the balance is displayed on the screen else get a transaction receipt by selecting print.
  • Mini Statement of Account : Keep track of the transactions in your account by availing this service. Mini-statement gives you an insight into the last 10 transactions in your account.

  • Green PIN: You can generate your Green PIN through these machines.

ADWM Usage Tips :

  • Machine can be used for depositing and withdrawing cash.
  • Machine facilitates card-based OR card-less cash deposit and withdrawal transactions.
  • Cash should NOT be folded.
  • NO COINs to be placed in the cash slot.
  • PIN, Tape, thread, rubber band etc. must NOT be attached with cash, else machine will be out of order.
  • Cash should be free of moisture, oil, dust.
  • Acceptable cash denominations by machine: ₹ 100 ₹ 200 ₹ 500
  • Maximum acceptable pieces of currency notes in a single deposit are 200 pieces.
  • If “Transaction Declined” is displayed by machine, it should not be used by the customer anymore.
  • Amount of Fake / counterfeit cash will NOT be credited in customer’s account.
