CSR CURRENT ACCOUNT - Business

CSR Account is a special account that companies are required to open in a scheduled bank to transfer the unspent amount of their ongoing CSR projects within 30 days from the end of the financial year, as per Section 135 (6) of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (CSR Policy) Rules, 2014.

The purpose of this account is to ensure that the unspent amount of CSR projects is utilised for CSR activities within a period of three financial years from the date of such transfer
