About the Business Responsibility Report:

Business Responsibility Report (BRR) of the Bank, is published on an annual basis since FY2012-13. Regulation 34(2)(f) of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI circular No. CIR/ CFD/CMD/10/2015 dated 04th November, 2015 and SEBI Notification No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2019/45 dated 26th December,2019 mandates the inclusion of Business Responsibility Report (BRR) as part of the Annual Report for Top 1000 listed entities based on market capitalization (calculated as on March 31 of every financial year) at BSE and NSE. Additionally, as per SEBI guidelines, those listed entities which have been submitting Sustainability Reports based on internationally accepted frameworks need not prepare a separate BRR but only furnish to their stakeholders the details of the framework under which their BRR has been prepared and a mapping of the principles made in their Sustainability Reports. The Bank’s Sustainability Report with the requisite mapping for the financial year ended 31st March 2022 has been hosted on the Bank’s website https://www.sbi.co.in under the link Investors Relations-Annual Report.
